Purveyor was formed just two years ago by Gary Fisher and Stuart Currie. This quickly resulted in their first release, ‘Disaffection’, which encapsulated their modern, progressive synthpop sound, inspired by classic synthesizer bands from the past. The pair use an assortment of analogue and digital synthesizers for both live and studio work, including a KS4 and an X-Station. The variety of sounds and ease of use are just two of their favourite Novation characteristics; “Because of our love for classic gear, the KS4’s layout and palette of sounds make it immediately useful and fun to program. The X-Station is also extremely valuable for creating additional textures with our softsynths.
